A handsome Victorian mahogany extending dining table, offering a practical and versatile size with a warm, rich finish and attractive turned and fluted legs.
The rectangular top has rounded corners and a moulded edge, with two removable leaves allowing the table to be adjusted to suit different dining requirements. When closed, the table measures approximately 102.5 cm in length. One leaf adds 23 cm and the second larger leaf adds 44.5 cm, giving a fully extended length of 170 cm.
The table is supported on four substantial turned and fluted legs, each terminating in brass castors. The combination of the simple moulded frieze, rounded corners and decorative legs gives the table a smart and well-balanced appearance.
